Anastasi Ilton Anthony was born in 1984 in Elbasan Albania. Coming from a musical family he started music and learning violoncello when he was 6 years old at the music school "Onufri" in his birth town. He followed musical studies there for 9 years. In the age of 15 Ilton moved to Greece, where after, he finished the music high school in Rhodes island and continued cello lessons with Vagjel Nina in Athens . While studying with him, Ilton finished his diploma at the Hellenic Conservatory of Music and Arts in Athens with the highest mark unanimously and the first price of the conservatory as well.
On 2016-2018 he continued and finished with an excellent degree his studies of Master in the performance of Violoncello at Gustav Mahler music university of Carinthia in Klagenfurt Austria with prof Florian Berner.
He has participated in many concerts, as a soloist in his own recitals, chamber music ensembles and string orchestras like , the Donau Philharmonic Orchestra of Europe at the 16 Wörthersee classics festival in Klagenfurt , KSO Kartner Symphony Orchestra of Stadtheater in Klagenfurt, Salzburger Philharmonie Orchester, SFK Euro Symphony Orchestra, Villach Neue Symphonie Orchestra, 100 cellos of Giovani Sollima, Academica Orchestra of Athens and many others. Ilton have played in many big concert halls around Europe and Asia while being on tour and different kind of concerts.
He has followed different master classes with very well known cellists as well as Amid Pelled.
Ilton has been awarded with the Third Prize at UNESCO nationwide contest of Greece as a soloist in 2014 and with the First Price as a soloist in a string competition in Amfikaia Parnassos in 2016.
